HIRAX Project
Omegaverse is proud to announce its pivotal role in crafting the tooling for the groundbreaking HIRAX (Hydrogen Intensity and Real-time Analysis Experiment) project. This significant milestone marks our commitment to supporting cutting-edge scientific endeavors and fostering global collaboration.
The HIRAX project is poised to be launched in the Karoo astronomy reserve, contributing to the ambitious scientific goals of the initiative. This large-scale cosmology experiment aims to map the distribution of hydrogen in the universe, shedding light on dark energy and the universe's expansion history.
At Omegaverse, we are thrilled to be part of this transformative journey. By providing precision-engineered tooling for the HIRAX project, we proudly achieved 0.2mm accuracy on the a six meter diameter dish, and we are not only contributing to scientific discovery but also strengthening ties between the global science industry and South Africa. Our collaboration embodies the spirit of engineering innovation and excellence that drives the HIRAX mission.Stay tuned for more updates as the HIRAX project continues to reach new heights. Together, we are shaping the future of science and exploration.
