DTM ( Direct-to-Mould) is a type of Prototype mould (for a limited production run) that eliminates the manufacturing of a plug, by directly machining the production mould.
This may be something to consider if prototyping is required for a project. If the product produced meets specifications, one could derive a production mould from a ‘master’ product.
